| This photograph was taken on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi, one of the five lakes around the foot of Mount Fuji. As can be seen, the cherry blossom was in full bloom and looked absolutely fabulous. |

Hi Malcolm,
I see what you're getting at with this shot, but... it would have been much better not to have had the garbage bins and the rubbish prominent in the camera left foreground. Maybe a vertical crop would help. Welcome to TE, its a wonderful site, I hope you get much pleasure from participating.
