| Himeji Castle is one of the best known and most photogenic of all the man-made structures in Japan. I have chosen this low-wide-angle shot just because of the myriad lines and angles of the roofing. It has an abstract quality about it as well as an illustrative one. It also shows just a tantalising glimpse of late autumn re-flowering on the cherry trees at bottom left. |

The contre-plong閑 view adds much impact in this shot. Nice and sharp details, with a wonderful blue sky serving as a great contrasting backdrop. Nice work.
