[Note Guidelines] 艺术家笔记
They rode the fastest horses
Left the wind behind
Thousand men....
And one man led the way
The others followed by:
Genghis Khan!

***************************

Japan Monglia Folk Museum is a small museum for Mongolian culture and history in the middle of the countryside of Toyooka,Hyogo. In the front of Museum, is a statue of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongolian Empire.

His name as a great conqueror of Asia has been told somehow romantically also in Japan, although his grand son Khubilai Khan attempted to invade Japan. I guess that he may be Far Eastern counterpart of Alexander the Great for Western world.

By the way, this statue is made in Indonesia, the southernmost brother of Far Eastern countries. I don't know why they placed an order for it with Indonesian artists. Any way, Japan and Indonesia are two of the few Asian coutries that had not been conquered by the Mongolian Empire.

*************************

Dsching, Dsching, Dschinghis Khan,
hey Reiter, ho Leute, hey Reiter, immer weiter,
Dsching, Dsching, Dschinghis Khan,
hey M鋘ner, ho M鋘ner, tanzt M鋘ner, so wie immer,

und man h鰎t ihn lachen, (Ho ho ho ho)
immer lauter lachen, (Ha ha ha ha)
und er leert den Krug in einem Zug.

("Dschinghis Khan" Lyric by Bernd Meinunger)
