| I was recently in Japan with my sixth grade class on a field trip. It was a whirlwind tour into Tokyo and out of Osaka over five days with 144 students, 8 teachers and 4 guides. I captured this Buddhist monk outside of Kinkakuji, the Temple of the Golden Pavilion, in Kyoto. |

I really like this one, Benjamin.
Frontal shot of the monk performing his daily routine,
excellent focusing on his face and triggering at the
right moment when the bowl is under his chin.
There's one detail I like the most and that is - his
eyes being half-covered by his hat, thus not compleately
revealing his own privacy and personal involvement in
his doings.
Very well timed and greatly executed,
Robi
Hello Benjamin,
I like this image of the young novice, bowl in hand, in deep contemplation. Your students must have been fascinated by the view as well.
Warm regards,
Bulent
