| Mt. Fuji or Fuji-san as locals would call it with reverence, is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 meters. This photo was taken from a town called Hakone, a national park known for its hot springs or "onsen". I decided to post this photo as I just heard from a friend who recently hiked Mt. Fuji. There is only a certain season for hiking (July and August)and unfortunately everytime I was in Tokyo, it was too cold and it was closed. It is just one more reason to come back I guess! |
