This is 2nd and biggest lake in the group of 5 lakes on Shiretoko peninsula in Hokkaido. In Ainu language, meaning of "Shiretoko" is "end of land". Though few more islets exist in the pacific closer to main Hokkaido island, Shiretoko is the end of Hokkaido.
It was cloudy day and bit windy. I had to wait for some time to get this reflection. Otherwise on a clear day with no wind, this lake is really a beautiful sight.
This is 2nd post in a series on Hokkaido.
