| [Note Guidelines] 艺术家笔记 |
Unirii Square(Piata Unirii) is the oldest square(in baroque style) in Timisoara.
The square is known as well under the name of Dome Square.Back in 1919,they given the name Unirii Square because there romanian troops were stopped when they entered in Timisoara.
The square host important touristic objectives like Roman-Catholic Dome,Baroc Palace,Orthodox Serb Cathedral.
About Timisoara:
Timişoara,(German: Temeschburg, Temeswar, or Temeschwar), also known as "The City of Athletes", is a city in the Banat region of western Romania. It is the capital of Timiş County.
The city is also called "Little Vienna", because it belonged for a very long time to the Habsburg Empire and the entire city center consists of buildings built in the Kaiser era, which is reminiscent of the old Vienna. Timişoara is an important university center with the emphasis on subjects like medicine, mechanics and electro-technology. An industrial city with extensive services, it was the first European city to be lit by electric street lamps in 1884. It was also the second European and the first city in what is now Romania with horse drawn trams in 1867. There are numerous claims that Gustave Eiffel, the creator of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, built one of Timişoara's footbridges over the Bega.

Hello Lucian,
Very nicely lit night scene, I like the people sitting under the street lamps, the white & green buildings are beautifully lit & the blue sky looks superb, I have never managed to get a sky like that. Good informative note.
Well done.

Hi Lucian,
It's a nice square and this blue hour image attracted my eye, exposure is well mastered but the overall impression is a bit dark, it is possible to lighten it and I had prepared a WS for you to suggest some modifications, too bad you do not allow them :-(
Have a nice week end JY
