you seem to have focused on the hands rather than the eyes. but the pose, his very grown-up, down-to-earth expression and the bw conversion work very well here.

Haha, the title got me really scared... I was expecting a very cheesy smiling children picture of a street kid that was paid some bucks for some sad pics ;-P. But no, I should have known better! Wonderfully different! A less attractive, well fed kid with glasses. Great! They do exist! :-)))

And that hand?! What an unnatural position. Must be uncomfortable...

They don't delete workshop postings by the way....
