Photographer's Note

This is a partial view of the tower and the west side facade of the Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo, taken in 2010. A very nice full view, taken in 2015, is posted on TE by Mariusz Kamionka here. I think they enlarged the plaza in front of the church after my visit, the reflecting pool was not there then. The construction of this High Gothic style church started in the 13th century and continued for more than 200 years. The result of this work is the amazing artwork inside and out. I put two pictures into the Workshop to show the beautiful carvings of the tower and on the main entrance.
