Good Morning Everyone,

I just had to post an autumn photograph whilst we are still in November; another couple of days and winter will be upon us.

This photograph was taken in Hyde Park where there are many deciduous trees to cast their leaves. The leaves were so thick that they made a deep carpet.

Hello, Berveley!

I like this framing with this much of ground with beautiful yellow leaves on it making a very nice contrast with the still green grass in the background. The people are a good focal point and add more life to the scene. Excellent light, sharpness and depth! Wonderful job!

Hello Bev,
You were right to allocate so much space to the carpet of leaves with their lovely gold and yellow tones. Good idea also to include the group of people, they make a useful focal point. I also like the framing offered by the tree trunks and the contrasts in tone between foreground and background.
Pouring with rain here today; just back from a visit to the dentist, which doesn't help!

Well chosen POV and an excellent framing with the beautiful yellow and brown autumn leaves dominating the scene. The three people animated talking with each other gives the picture an attractive vibrance.

A very thick and rich carpet, Beverley, and awesome autumn scene, taken in one of the most famous park in the wortld - a real charm photo.
Three figures on mid picture, enliven and scale wonderfully.

I like the diffused light and the graphism of the dark tree trunk at right. The trio of walkers in the bg provides a good focal point and animates the scene. Lovely Autumn colours in the fallen fg carpet of leaves. Tfs!

Hello Bev,
The trees frame the composition nicely and the upper part, behind the path, gets roughly a third of the view, making the photo well balanced and harmonious. The colours are attractive, with a thick carpet of mainly yellow nearest us, while on the other side of the path the leaves look mainly brown. Beyond that it is nice to see the lawn still very green. As always the persons walking by provide the human touch that usually benefits this kind of photo. It's a very pleasant photo and I would have been proud to have taken it.

Hello Bev,

I see much oak leaves are one of the most beautiful in a forest.
This carpet makes your picture attractive, I think much painters would gladly this use for a painting.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.
Composition and presentation are pleasant to look at.

Bonjour Bev,

Ce que tu nous montres aujourd'hui, c'est l'automne � son meilleur. Marcher dans les feuilles au sol est un bonheur quand l'air est frais. Mais quand je pense que sur mon terrain , il faut ramasser, c'est un peu moins dr鬺e.

Beautiful autumn photo from Hyde Park. The carpet of yellow and brown leaves is beautiful and nicely captured in between the two trees on either side of the composition. The three people are a nice detail as well.

I like how you made this scene your own, its not a scene all the photographers take, you composed this all on our own merit. love the beta version even more, and the texture on the thick trunk on the right. cheers

This is a huge amount of leaves! A real autumn carpet. I like the way how you put within the frame two tree trunks and three people walking in a distance give the whole composition a human dimension. Well done!
