Holly came from Miami, Florida
Hitchhiked her way across the USA.
Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her leg and then he was she - she said:

Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.

Candy came from out on the island,
In the backroom she was everybodys darling,
But she never lost her head
Even when she was given head - she said:

Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.

Little Joe never once gave it away,
Everybody had to pay and pay.
A hustle here and a hustle there
New York city is no place where they said:

Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side.

Sugar plum fairy came and hit the streets
Looking for soul food and a place to eat
Went to the Apollo, you should have seen him go - they said:

Hey Sugar, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side...

Hi Korkut! ideal point! A moment that would invite each photographer. You gave artistic dimension with the note and the POV. How they would be coloured? The wall with note (I name) the SMS of street! intelligent imprinting! greetings my congratulations...

Merhaba Korkut bey,

have a nice day,
Fabio.

merhaba korkut bey
selamlar

Merhaba Korkut.

Mmmm....maybe with a little more contrast better. Anyway, I like it. Nice POV!

Rgs, Oscar
PS: I need more Holidays....

Tebriklerrrr Korkut,
Zeynep

Slm Korkut ;

an art shot of your hand Korkut.
well composed shot, good in black and white fine details, very good photojob, have a nice day.

normalde boyle yazili duvarlar gozu rahatsiz eder dusuncesiyle pek cekilmeye deger bulunmaz.. sen oyle cekici hale getirmissin ki.. oncelikle uzerinde yuruyen insanlarin uyumu bile farkli.. sert isikta S&B yapmak super fikir.. soldan insanlara gelen isik nefis, ve gokyuzunun tertemiz griliginde harika gorunuyorlar.. gozune saglik Korkut,
ReLa

I'm never tired of being surprised by your original work, krkt. This scene, the way you captured, it makes it surrealist. The indifference of the people walking in line and falling to the abysm on the other side...It looks like a game, but the b&w presentation makes me think of a Carpenter movie. Just love it.

yazık olan tek şey zeynep'in abisi, fotoğrafın güzelliğine bakıp avunsun artık

A nice B&W creation, Korkut, intriguing composition and eye-catching... and, you know, I now remember a fantastic concert by Mr Reed a few years ago... so thanks for sharing this one, Daniel

Hi Korkut,

I was in a doubt about each one of your last two posts to critque. Well, let me write something on both. Very strong and well executed b&w photo. It looks it came from a fashion magazine. I really like the dark tones and the textures on the wall. Great job my friend!
Regards,
Carlos

Nice shot. I’m not thrilled but I like it.
You suppose that Ahmet wrote this? But why not Feyza?
Cheers
Andreas

Merhaba Korkut,

hi korkut
I was drawn into this one by the thumbnail and title, and wasn't disappointed: it's an unusual, cleverly taken photo packed with drama.

Superb shot!
The symbolic and the scene are really fantastic...the BW too.
I love the people who walk...
So good!
Congratulations!

Hello Korkut,

True that Lou Reed did the song on his second album and it was seen as one of his best solo works. But the original song is not from 1972, but 1962 as a title song to the same movie 'Walk on the wild side', written by lyricist and songwriter Mack David. Other work from his hands are "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" sung by Patti Page and later on covered by Elvis. And the theme song of the original movie of "Caspar the friendly ghost" :-).

Other good covers of "Walk on the wild side" that I know of are the ones of The Strokes with Robbie Williams, the one of Vanessa Paradis, and a Tribe Called Quest made a hip-hop sample of it.

Just some extra info on this wonderfully strange photograph ;-).

Greetings!
Dennis

Good to see that your work continues to be highly original. Love it! A great black and white shot where the top of the wall respects the rule of thirds. Nicely done Korkut.
Best wishes
Mark

Hello Korkut,
As so often in your gallery, you created amazing graphics here.
I like too your BW and how you added the song... Beautiful post,
Have a nice day,
JB.

Geia sou bostani mou!

I would like to know the names of the members of this "wild bunch" (to avoid them!). Great framing and composition, perfect b&w conversion! I like the huge contrasts! Congratulations!

The Giritli

PS. Still in Girit, but the last 6 days working, travelling around the island. Not complaining at all, it is still much better than Athens, where I 'll be next Tuesday, in my office :-(

merhaba,

Her yönüyle süper, dikkat çekici...

Hello Korkut,

Perfect choose of B&W medium as many friend already said. I like your look from bottom while your models and graphite's are making your frame richest one. Have a nice week end. Congratulations.

Hey Korkut! Too/tooroo/tootooroo/too/tooroo... I love this song. And your photo is really in this mood, with nice lights and this excellent point of view from down. The words on the wall adds nice detail and interest, completing the nice composition very well.
Too/tooroo/tootooroo/too/tooroo..
Have a nice weekend!

merhaba Korkut,

Merhaba Korkut,
Enteresan siyah beyaz calisma. Netlik ve detaylar cok guzel. Monitor farkindan olsa gerek, biraz koyu geldi bana.
Guzel kompozisyon. Eline saglik. Selamlar, sevgiler. Salvator.
PS. Benim fotograflar senin monitorde acik koyu filan gozukurse yaz lutfen, ayarini yapayim.

Tebrikler...
Anıl

New Kids on the Block gibi olmuş bu.

Bon we
Marie

Ciao Korkut,
it could be a cover of a CD! :)
Really a great capture, excellent artistic result. The B&W and the song work very well to present this scene.
Have a nice sunday

Bende Tezic'e katilmak durumundayim. Tonlar mukemmel olmus.

Hey Korkut,

Im sure its been said already, but this could very easily be an album cover. An image with a lot of attitude, a great gritty look, and the foreign graffiti.

And a nice title as well ;)

This could be a poster from a rock band. It has the dynamics, the alternative feel of the deep b&w, the statement. I like it a lot.

the light an the b&w is superb for me. Fascinating.

In a totally different range as La Luce but so fascinating too. It could be used for smart advertising, CD cover, and alike as many said above. Again, as always with you, the light is wonderful, the contrast strong and the textures make one want to touch, to stretch the hand towards the screen. My humble compliments. There is probably love from Ahmet for Feyza and most certainly love in the way you photograph Korkut. All over your images.

Michèle

Reminds me of movies about future... Kind of punk style...

merhaba,
gerçekten harika bir açı yakalamışsınız..güzel bir paylaşım olmuş..elinize sağlık

Hello Korkut,
I enjoy the strong contrast. Very beautiful black and white. Sharp and very well composed.
Best regards,
Fabrice

very impressive!!!!!! wow this one really attracted me, it has the 102% of the usual quality,
Great b/w conversion. but beside that, the scene is really something!!

Really an amazing shot - I was in Amasra, remember these high walls but could not possibly have taken such a photo and of course, it's my mistake ! There were also modern people walking around, why did I not see the contrast between the 2 ? And the graffitis look just gorgeous...

Splendid B&W, congratulations !
Best,
Cath.
