What a nice image. Great DOF. I like the colours of the ducks, clear and sharp. This is nace scene from nature. Good composition with ducks that comeing from the left.
One duck is intruder, the brown one:-))

Fantastic capture, while 'leading' the ducks! And I remember that episode. Almost as good as Python...

Great timing, Richard! The ducks are well positioned in your shot. I'm impressed with your focusing, you really "got" them! Wonderful background, too! rgds.

Hilarious quote of the best hotel manager I've seen on duty. YOu've got a great effect freezing the ducks, who are extremely sharp, and the blurred background. Guess it's called panning if I understood it well. Well done.

Action shot, with great definition of the flying ducks, and the backdoor blur of the scenery. Great colors and also a great composition.
Very well done and my congratulations!

Hi Richard,
3,2,1 formation is nice. You capture the duck in flight very well in term of sharpness. Did you pan your camera for this picture?
Naret
beautiful richard! right on time, at the right place. From the blur i assume you were panning whentaking the shot, with a very good success. these ducks are very sharp. Bravo.

Hi Richard. Wonderful in-flight photo of the ducks, in which you got not only a fine panning effect, but also a great framing that leaves space for them to "fly into". Very nice symmetry in the poses of the birds. Great shot.

Hi Richard, very nice reference to the best hotel series ever made. You can still see it every season again and again.
This looks great, and this is such a shot, which you were actuallly not able to make, I guess, with your IXUS.
I like their orange hanging webfoots. I guess you saturated that a bit.
Strange time for ducks, she is flying with FIVE males, I feel sorry for her, as I do with every female duck in springtime.

Unfortunately the TV only showed a few Fawlty Towers episodes… Never understood why they haven’t shown the series as it seem great…
Regarding your photo I think it’s a very well made panning. The ducks are very sharp and the colors great. Also their position in the frame balances the composition and gives room for them to “fly” creating a sense of movement.

The title brought a smile to my face even before I clicked on the thumbnail, Richard.
This is an excellent capture, with nice strong colours on the ducks. I like how they seem to be 'falling all over each other' in their attempt to take-off. Well done.
Very dynamic shot thanks to the dof and the sharpness (considering the ducks are in the air). Great composition too. Amazing how you can focus and frame the ducks in the shot so quickly...
