Hi Dan, Thank you for taking all the risk to bring this nice photo to us. I like this nice diagonally arranged repetition roof photo. You certainly have the right angle, both vertically and horizontally, in taking this picture. The lighting condition is very nice to enjoy some reflections on the surface. You have done an excellent job in getting the DOF, sharpness, and nice contrast. Well done.

Again you found a dizzying roof pattern, Dan. This really seems to play tricks to the eye after a few seconds of watching, the repetition and graphical impact is quite strong. Good handling of the DOF for this kind of shot.

you always come up with something unusual, Dan.
Today it's green tiled roof and some fine illusion effect like those graphics you stare at for some time for a hidden image to appear before your eyes.
Nice green pattern covered in cherry petals.

Thanks. This is one of my favourite objects. Roofs! and only Roofs When I have time a will open a theme with it (if it doesn抰 exist yet).
Beautiful shot of these glazed tiles. Once I learned my students the different types used in Holland.

What a wonderful and endless pattern, Dan. It's hard to focus the eue on one point, but from the other hand, it's even much harder to take the eye off it. Beautiful colors and texture, excellent job.

This is quite an excellent pattern. I especially like scrolling up from the bottom and watching the perspective and pattern play around and unfold. It's really neat as th eye gets lost in it as I move out over the distance. It's very well controlled. If I had my photo of my neighbor's roof handy I'd post it as a workshop to show the comparison between typical roofs in Japan and here.
