I'd call this one 'a face on the edge', very good use of the window to frame the composition. The face on the bottom left corner add that classic touch of curiosity... the observer been observed... well done,

The picture is really good. Maybe you should've clone-stamped her away. Nevertheless, it's a great shot.
On second thought, what if you didn't mention the lady at all, I don't think many would notice she was there....Hmmm

Hi Angshu, well, that's a dilemma, isn't it: when there is a "surprise" in the photo - to tell in the note or to leave it to the viewer to discover by himself/herself? Anyway - I believe that this shot in B&W is excellent (with or without "the lady") and with that light enhances the details of the face in stone. Cheers! Daniel

Hi Angshu, i can't still say "yeah" to this one, a nice attempt though! the face of Bayon still dominates and the woman creates a marginal impact owing to the obstruction on the fg!
anyway, i still feel the big face creates enough impact by itself. see the workshop.

Hi Angshu,
Very interesting picture. Agree with Arnab about the domination of Bayon's face and I find that woman making this a very interesting composition. Personally I'd probably wait for the woman to leave - or maybe include more of the woman, other than leaving only her head coming out because I find that quite strange. But the result of your image works very well thanks go the great textures & patterns of this gigantic face captured extremely well in a black and white setting. I like your pictures of Cambodia and am looking forward to seeing more!

Hello Angshu, I love the B&W and also the Avalokitesvara's face, very good work with light and shadow. But I want the lady out, she does not belong in your beautifull shot, I wish you would have taken her out, but it cool that you made a note explaining the whole affair. The good thing is that because the pic is big I can just open it in a way that she is not showing on my screen, just the beautifull carving...

hey angshuman, this is a good black and white. the contrast works well here. perhaps you could have cropped the lady out and put in a nice frame! :) but the shot works well. good photography!

Hi Angshu -in this rare instance I'm glad you kept the woman, it's difficult to get an original shot at a very populkar tourist attraction, but that candid glimpse works for me here.

Hello Angshuman.
I really like your B&W treatment here...there is much punch in those blacks and highlights. Very well done keeping the face of the lady in the shot...it really makes the whole scene very interesting. What wpuld be cool as well would be to burn in the womans face a little. I figure that is something that could be done when printing from film, so it is justified here with this digital conversion.
