| 介绍: | Hi, All.... ++++ Forgive me if I don't keep up, but I am no longer working on MY schedule... Instead it is the schedule of a little fellow who plays with my keyboard and tries to stick his fingers in my eyes and nose and his toys in my mouth... Makes it kind of hard to stay caught up... :)) ++++ ....UPDATE: -- Two Years .... I have been a member now since June '06 so two years is a good amount of time to have been taking lessons...... :)) I really appreciate all the advice, suggestions, workshops, critiques and kindness you have shown me on this site and I value very much the friends I feel I've made here. This really is an incredible site. It crosses borders, faiths, colors, oceans and continents and unites people in a pleasant pastime, wonderful hobby or even, oh, your work, I guess. And I cannot say that I have encountered even one person here who has been anything less than polite, decent, kind... That is a wonderful thing and I thank you all. I will add here some personal information to introduce myself. I am the mother of one daughter and the grandmother of two rowdy, handsome, rascally boys (and now a 1 year old boy!). The joy of my days. I am retired from the U.S. Navy after spending twenty years. A good life in some ways and very hard in others. It did give me the chance to visit many parts of the world I would have never seen and meet people from places I would never have met. Kind of like Trekearth. :)) One thing I did find in those 20 years. People are nice wherever you go. Well, it follows that you need to BE nice or you'll get what you give. Life can be very humorous and I like to laugh. (Some of my photos and titles will attest to that.) Taking life too seriously will make it SEEM longer even if it is a short while. -- I have no "style" of photography. I shoot what I think is cool, beautiful, amazing, etc. Even the ordinary can become amazing under the right conditions. I am a perfectionist who drives myself nuts and then nuts again. LOL I hate it when my pictures aren't what I WANT them to be. -- For those of you who are new here?? Write notes. Write critiques. You'll learn a lot by doing that. Most of all? Enjoy and learn.
