| 介绍: | Hallo! My name is Frank, I live in Siegen, Germany. I like travelling and hiking - especially in the Alps -, my garden and I love the low mountain range region I live in, the Siegerland, because it's beautiful and interesting. I think that TrekEarth is a wonderful possibility to get more knowledge about our planet and to get to know interesting and friendly people from everywhere - and to learn more about photography. Addendum, Oct, 26th, 2008: After three years here I can say that TE exceeded my expectations. I think that my skills have advanced with help of many many mostly honest comments - laudatory and critical ones. Thanks for both! Workshops also often have been helpful. For me it always again is annoying that some members often obviously forget the motto of TrekEarth: "LEARNING ABOUT THE WORLD THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY". These - mostly - perfectionists sometimes really are "killjoys". Of course photos here should be as good as possible, - but in my opinion not at any price. If they are interesting and additionally excellent, so much the better! The most interesting photos sometimes are depreciated because of technical things and often dubious "rules" - and no word about their content, their object, their added notes, their "message". What a pity! Fortunately I met many many friendly photographers here and I have had many exchanges of ideas - from cheerful to profound. And I found some friends here - even though the word "friend" in German, perhaps by Germans, isn't used so often "expressis verbis". I think my friends concerned feel and know this ;-) | |
