| 介绍: | Hello fellow Trekkers! I've been visiting now for a couple of years, and thought it might be a good time to share some of my efforts with you. Perth, Western Australia, is a city of just over 1 million people, and one of the most isolated capitals in the world: we have some wonderful beaches and scenery around the city, with the Swan River a great focal point. But to see a real change in landscape here, one has to travel several hundred kilometres, either north or south, however the rewards are worth it. As I'm nearing retirement from full-time work, photography will become more of a passion for me than just an occasional hobby, and travel to some of the more photogenic countries is definitely on the cards! Another trip to British Columbia, Alberta and New Zealand is planned for August - November '07: I look forward to sharing my travels with you all, and to being a part of this great TE community! 4th Feb 2008 - and just over 12 months from my 1st post to TE! There's no denying this site is addictive - there's hardly a day goes by when I don't visit! In the past year, I've learned a lot from everyone here at TE - and made some good 'cyber friends' along the way. Just last week, I parted (almost tearfully!) with my first serious DSLR, a Nikon D70: however (as of 26th March), I now have a D200 to play with! Thanks for all the feedback I've received from so many of you - and I'm sure the next 12 months will be just as rewarding for me. G'day from WA! Jeff | |
