I just came back on here after a long absence and this is one of the first photos I saw. It is also one of the most interesting and beautiful photos I've seen. You did an amazing job capturing the moment. It almost does look like the bull is going up, pulling the people below him along. But what I love especially about this photo is the sea of people, they so clear and the houses and outfits are so colorful. It's a most lively photo!

Wow how were u able to get a photo of Mỹ Tâm ? Honestly, her version of Ước gì has become one of my favorite songs. She is a really good singer, and here she looks so different without all her show make-up on. Personally, I'm not a fan of too much make-up, so it's really nice to see her in a natural setting (even the background). While I do like the photo, mainly because of her look, I wish there was more to the photo - a wider angle or perhaps a bit bolder colors. As you have it, it's a very calming photo - so perhaps since I'm used to seeing her in action, that's why there's a bit of this disconnect. Very nice photo and congratulations for being able to get such a professional looking photo with a true star.

This is my favorite photo of yours so far. I simply am impressed by how the scenery forms a perfect and very natural background for the lotus (the flower that grows out of the pond). The simple colors - pink, white, blue and green are very harmonious togehter. Truly a symbol of peace. Well taken.

Salut Joel, I've already commented on another of your photos. I really like how you know what colors look good together - and are able to capture a random pairing of colors such as this and make it a lovely photo. I am one who likes to see the faces! But I do like this photo, it really represents how color variety is so important in Bali. It was skillful to crop like this because it eliminated anything which could distract from the bold colors.

I like this photo for its presentation, but if people have appreciated it yet, it could be because of the colors. The dark background and her autumn colors don't stand out. I feel this photo could have been better had you been having lunch rather than dinner as sunlight would have complimented her better. ;) However, she is lovely.

This is an interesting topic... I was actually considering doing a series on this myself as I just had a discussion with my friend about the use of umbrellas - the fact that they're not for the rain! And this photo proves it. Even living in the US (near Asian populations), I see numerous women, old and middle age, using their umbrellas to combat the sun rather than the rain. Of course, the correct term should then be "parasol."

Bien fait! Vous avez trouvez les couleurs beaux du Bali en cette photo - comme les gouts d'eaux - splashed throughough the photo with the stone and metal gate acting as the pallette. And lovely also that the women's hand movements have been caught synchronized.

You did very well capturing the colors in this photo. It's like a rainbow in the water. I love the sky when it's like this. It really makes such a peaceful scene. The man's silhouette in the boat seems to represent where the viewer should be - peacefully enjoying nature along the Mekong.

Wow what a great look you captured. This photo definitely looks best in B&W. Such a sharp focus on the lady and virtually no background was a great idea. This photo is very pleasing to the eye and conveys the sensousness of good yakitori.
