Hi William, you were lucky with the weather in Moscow! excellent perspective view :) a few words about the statue: it's not "supposedly" of Peter the Great, it IS of Peter the Great. Hello Vincent, this is a very beautiful view and an excellent composition! This combination of white/bluish snow, sunshine and peaky mountains create a fascinating atmosphere.. When I was on Mt. Titlis I was very impressed by the snowy cold mountains.. Fortunately, the day was very sunny though quite cold: -20C at the top! (it was February) I also absolutely agree with you regarding the 2nd paragraph in the Note to your photo. This is what I do every time I am in Luzern (I specially choose it because it is almost in the centre of the country, which is very convenient): right from my hotel room I can travel to any part of Switzerland and enjoy the "job"! :) best wishes, Elena

Hi Lisa, I saw this on FB - now on TrekEarth :) I consider it a perfectly composed shot. These "ghosts" of moving people in the foreground add a dynamic effect, and the brightly lit place with those tables and people add a touch of warmth (figuratively speaking, of course) to this scene :) I love that "star" on the Opera House! kind regards, Elena
