Welcome to TE dear Gerry! What a shot! I can nearly feel the Russian soul emanating from this picture! The white church in the centre offers a nice contrast to the bright colours framing the whole picture. Well done! Regards Olga PS: I spent some days in Vladimir myself last year with some close friends of mine (one of them is also called Gerhard like you!!) and was very impressed by the old churches.

Dear friend This is a poetic scenery indeed! It is as if the mountains would be sleeping beneath a sheet of fog (the mystic atmosphere reminds me somehow of Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke) Greetings, Olga PS: All your other pictures of Japan, especially those showing motives of nature, are also very impressive!

Hello Michael To me this picture of Brighton beach expresses perfectly the lightness of a bright and lovely summer day ... the combination of the two chairs in front and the pair in the centre taking a stroll on the sandy beach enhances this feeling. It's wonderfully captured! Best regards, Olga

Hello Patrick! A beautiful scene with interesting contrasts! The lively colours are rather unexpectedly focussed on the motionless protagonist sitting in the centre of the picture while the busy figures in the background appear wrapped in seemingly drowsy blueish colours. I love it! Olga
