Awesome shot, the exposure is perfect. The lighting really shows the heat/sweat and dirtiness of the working conditions.

This is a really cool picture, I wish I was there to have seen that. I think you could improve this by adjusting the levels. There's too much blue currently.

You seem to get to some good locations for taking pictures. I like these steps as a location, but think you could improve your composition. Maybe you could make the steps a background rather than subject. If you're ever back there again, I would see if you could get someone or something on the steps. If you do get to do that, don't center that subject in the frame, but put it a third from either the top or bottom. I like the shot, and I hope you keep posting pictures.

Nice composition, it's very moody. As far as the noise goes, do a search on NeatImage. It's a free down load that is very powerful. The default filter will help you a lot. You can experiment from there. A note would have been nice, but thanks for the picture at least.

Awesome photo, A friend and I have been playing around with this technique, but haven't had the luck you did with such an awesome sky. I really like the explanation of technique you gave for goblyne. It's really impressive that you got this without the use of the digital darkroom.
