Hello Mariusz, an excellent viewpoint which shows a good variety of the exhibits in this large hall. The depth of field and sharp quality are excellent too. I like the symmetry that you have achieved. Am I correct in thinking that Tyro posted some shots from here a few years ago? Thanks for sharing. Kind regards, Jean

Bonjour Jean, excellent point of view that emphasises the length of the sand bar. Unsure of the time of day, but I guess that the sun was quite low which gave a golden glow to the grasses and the sand. Your shadow and the distant figure complete the scene for me. Kind regards, Jean

Hello Lars, a fascinating church, a fortified church is something that I was unaware of until I viewed your pictures. An excellent viewpoint capturing the broad frontage of the building. Interesting notes. Kind regards, Jean

Hello Lars, the idea of a fortified church seems a little contradictory to me. An excellent shot. I am always impressed at how you manage to get the top of every spire/ tower etc., in shot. You have focused on some lovely features. Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Gert, two excellent shots with curious spectators making the most of seeing this enormous warship in the harbour. I notice that many are taking photos of this unexpected visitor. Of course the lady in red is a bonus to this scene, but the workshop shop is equally good. Interesting notes. Kind regards, Jean

Hello Gert, your note explains precisely why there is a long queue waiting to get on the boat. I am not surprised that the population want to make the most of the long daylight hours. And what a beautiful day it looked for this special holiday. Three excellent sharp and interesting pictures. I suppose living on and amongst so many islands people are used to travelling by boat? Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Ike, I like the very subtle tones in the sky after the sun has set. The silhouetted foreground features provide interest and strong shapes. The workshop picture shows us that special moment before the sun slips away. Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Silvio, you managed to get the perfect point of view looking directly up to the dome at the top. There is sufficient light for much of the details to be clearly seen. Informative notes.Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz, a good composition where the statue of James Watt takes precedence over the tower and the column. The sunlight illuminates all the scene. Poor James Watt! No-one would have expected him to be the resting point for the birds. Kind regards, Jean.
