Love this documentary shot but would personally have split the scene and toned down the buildings and foreground - maybe even gone B+W. I think the HDR works for the plume but not the rest.

Good composition, I like teh way the ripple lines in the sea break it up and the tonal blues of the shot are really nice.

Marlene, This is such a cool photo - I love the way you have cropped out the ground so it looks like he could be hundreds of feet off the ground (I suspect the truth is that the base of the tree is quite close to the bottom of the frame as I can see some grassy stuf there?). I see someone commented that they hope the boy landed safely in the water!! I really hope he didn't attempt to reach the water from there - it looks far too shallow and far too high up! Maybe he's the next Red Bull Cliff Diving champion. The only thing I don't like is the frame - I don't think it adds anything. Congrats though!

Quality shot but what really makes it is the complimentary angles. Very nice.

Great use of the filter in this one to create a scene that's both warm and cold at the same time. Very christmasy.

Brilliant opportune capture. Love the diagonal lead off lines and the reflection of a window in the top left and grafiit on the wall too. I think the mannequin is looking over the guys shoulder to see what he's doing.

Whilst everyone is taking photos of the town you managed to find a time and space to take a fantastic shot of the observation deck with no-one else in frame! An original image. Cheers Matt BTW: I just got back from NYC yesterday and will have some more traditional night time ones to post at some point.

Hi Angshuman, Really like the moodiness of this landscape shot with the monastery being an excellent foreground object of interest. The river adds dynamism to the picture too. The only minor things is I would liked to have seen the top of the mountain closest to us.. Cheers Matt

A very dynamic capture of this tribal chap and I like the way he 'pops' out of the shot with a colourful background. The old skool Boombox in the background gives it a hip hop feel ;o) Cheers Matt

Good choice to frame the first tree against the edge of the as it automatically makes the eye look to the right down the line of trees and off into the jungle. Cheers Matt
