Hej Lars,
Det är inget fel på bilden. Den är väl komponerad och snyggt indelad i blått, vitt och grönt, men jag har ju sett den förut. När jag var i Pisa gjorde jag desperata försök att fotografera tornet från annat håll. Jag står fast vid att jag tyckte Siena ver mycket trevligare än Pisa. Minst lika intressant, inte lika packat med turister och mycket bättre mat (men jag kanske bara hade otur att gå till fel ställen i Pisa).

Finally you have started showing some of the photos I have already seen (or very similar ones). This must be one of the most special towns in the world, so I can't understand why there aren't more photos from here on TE. Seeing the photos I get a slightly claustrophobic feeling, but I guess everything seems normal when actually walking these streets. These photos are all good and interesting but I agree with this one as main choice. There is a gentleman in red and a lady in red hair and we get a good look at the roof above the street. The photo has nice depth, the shape suits the view well and the buildings on both sides are nice frames.

This must be one of very few such old churches in Greece that doesn't look much smaller than surrounding buildings and isn't standing deep below the present street level. It is quite beautiful and in this perfect light the colours are also beautiful.

It would have been outrageous to dismantle these guns, and not just because they're part of the island's history. At least this one is a real beauty with its kind of chubby design, and I love the rusty and weather-bitten surface and the faded colours making it look like painted by an abstract artist. The WS are also very nice, especially the one overlooking the sea and with the long railing going down the slope. You had good light and managed attractive colours.

This is a nice portrait. The lady looks friendly and pleased to pose for the photo. I am glad that you sent a copy. Almost as important as the portrait as such are several small details, like the traditionally built fence, tightened with a modern rope, and the golden dome of the local mosque. I also like the different styles or metal roofs for the buildings.

It may be an ordinary street on an ordinary morning, but the photo is very nicely composed. I like how the street starts from the right side, goes left and then curves back towards the right. People animate the view and create depth, along with parked cars and the differently coloured walls. In the background the old tower is a very good focal point. The photo is well balanced and well exposed, so my only hint of criticism would be that I find it leaning very slightly to the right.

Two very sharp and well exposed photos. Although they have a horizontal shape there is a strong vertical accent because of the forest of masts and their reflections. The nearest white boat is a good eye-catcher in the mainly blue surroundings.

It's as always fascinating to see these ancient treasures next door to a modern city. Most of this Odeon seems to be in an excellent conditions, which is quite amazing. It's a well taken photo from a good angle and the note is informative.

Hello Rob,
These photos show us people of a kind found in streets of every major city during the tourism season. Some such musicians are amazingly clever, others seem to be playing more for their own amusement, but they nearly always tempt me to stop for a brief photo session. In Stockholm they are probably most often found in the city center or Gamla Stan, where all tourists come, less often on Södermalm.
The collage of the main post indicates the versatility of that musician, while the young girl with the ponytail immediately gets my full sympathy, whether she was good or not (but I think she was).

You may have had a hard choice among these photos. It's difficult for an outsider to judge if the level of the water in this pond is very low. There are nice colours on the surface, but are they harmful algae? The dead tree is nicely placed in the foreground. But I must admit that I would have chosen one of the WS, which both add living "creatures" (including people) to the views.
