Hello Paul,
Seeing the main photo I didn't expect the WS to show something so very different. #1 is amusing for the huge crowd of pigeons, #2 is an original and quite beautiful composition with fine light and colours and pigeons looking prettier than I usually find them in the streets.
As for the main photo the buildings is of a style I can't really define but it reminds me of some kind of fantasy medieval castle. It looks good in the background, but most credit for good composition should go to the inclusion of the large pool with water lilies and reflections.

I like all these photos. The main one gives us the closest view of the beautiful, but maybe unpleasant, black bird. The WS show us a nice rural scenery of cows and cyclists, and cows looking at the raven. Or were they really looking at you? Or did they find both of you worth a break in their daily routines? I have very rarely seen ravens at close range but their intelligence is well known. But smart doesn't necessarily mean nice. Just look at some people!

Hello Chris,
This is a place often shown on TE, but I have rarely seen it from this angle which basically splits the wide view in three sections of white, brown and dark blue. In all these areas there are lots of small details to discover and enjoy.
Santorini is absolutely on of the most beautiful Greek islands but to my mind it's also one of the worst tourist traps, because of the cruise ships offloading passengers (mainly American and Japanese when I was here) who stay for a few hours and have no idea of reasonable prices.

I suppose you know for sure it's a replica. I wouldn't have seen the difference between this and a car made almost 90 years ago. But as Luciano points out, they were not likely to have been red in those days. In any case this brightens the entire parking lot.

The main photo gives us the best view of most of the building, so we understand the general impression it makes, but the closer view in the WS is a much nicer photo, where we see some of the pupils of the school. I would have chosen that for main entry, but of course we usually are of different opinions. ;-)

I must admit I don't see the women or any food, but it's a fantastic painting, with such meticulously created colourful patterns. It's a work I could watch for a very long time, and probably enjoy for a lifetime if I had it on my wall. But just how big is it? I like the funny figures in the WS too, but the only Google reference to Terena Bonson I could find brought me to this post. Searching for "Warraburnburn" I got directed to sites about "Warrawarra clan artists" all named Pascoe.

It's a neat and attractive composition, sad and funny at the same time. Sad because it's another abandoned building, funny because of the mailbox hanging loose still filled with envelopes. Why do they keep delivering letters to an empty house?

Another truly fantastic creature with the most marvellous "design". It's astonishing that this can develop into the very discreet moth seen in the WS. You captured this with perfect sharpness and a blurred background. It looks like it is a part of the twig.

Skulpturen är rolig (på svenskt sätt) och personen i rött ger bra balans åt förgrunden. Grönskan och de fina husen ger en bra bakgrund. Det är en trevlig bild som jag gärna själv skulle ha tagit.

After seeing the slightly odd exterior, combining very different styles, it is interesting to find an interior that possibly looks even more unusual. The Gothic "screen" (I have no idea what it would be called in English) looks rather out of place but certainly gives the church a unique character. Because of this the main photo is the most interesting one, but the WS creates a much more harmonious atmosphere. I can understand your impression of a "warm feeling" here.

Thank you for your critique today. The dog seemed very friendly and probably didn't even notice me, but I think the lady with the cap was staring at me. Since she didn't say anything I felt entitled to a photo.

This has scanned quite well. The sharpness is not perfect but the colours are quite good and the composition of green hillside and very dark water is nice. The sailboat by the shore is a fine focal-point.

Your last photo of this temple was a composition of mainly trees and flowers. Now we get a straight view of the impressive and well maintained building. I appreciate that we also see a few persons who indicate the dimensions and enliven the view. Colours and light are very good, as usual.

It's a very pleasant photo of the farmer lady sitting on the step of her gazebo. It was kind of her to allow you this photo. I was wondering what kind of strange building this was, so the note was useful. The photo is sharp and clear and perfectly exposed.

This looks rather dramatic. It's mainly because of the force of the water, but the dark walls and the grey sky contribute to a slightly unpleasant atmosphere. It's a well taken photo with good sharpness and exposure.

Seeing the bridge open and a boat about to pass under it gives the view some kind of action, so this was a good moment for the photo. It's an interesting view in any case, with modern architecture seen between the "jungle" and the two-coloured sea. The WS shows us a neighbourhood of obviously quite wealthy people.

This is a very nice composition. We get a good view of a part of the elegant bridge, but mainly we see how the rope has been elegantly wrapped around the bollards. The sailor who did that knew his job. You made an attractive composition with fine sharpness and light.

Hello Chris,
The catacombs I saw in Rome were considerably darker and more claustrophobic than this. You had a very good light, whether natural or illuminated, and managed a razor sharp photo of the marvellous decorations. It has a nice symmetry too.
