Bonjour Jean,
Belle composition dans diff閞ents plans horizontaux.
L'閠roite bande de terre au milieu de l'eau est tr鑣 attrayante. Plus impressionnante encore est la Dune du Pilat. La vue de cette dune sur le front de mer me rappelle un peu les rives du Nil dans le sud de l'Egypte.

Incredible place where this tree grows.
A real natural phenomenon in a place that is exceptional in itself.
The boy who climbs the tree in the WS behaves very stupidly and shows no respect for the exceptionalness of this place.
In fact, such a person should be banned from ever visiting national parks or places of exceptional natural beauty.

The beach is indeed very small.
The tractor driver apparently has a full time job there given the number of boats we see. What if they all arrive at once after fishing? Or is that towing ashore maybe happening very quickly?
Something tells me I don't want to live in the house on top of the hill after all... Aren't there often storms in winter?

The photo also makes clear that the sunbathers in Tenerife had to spend that day under the clouds :)
Spectacular view from above the clouds. In Madeira I also saw such spectacular views during a trek (from Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo). Of course not from that high.

A tower that has had different uses in the course of its history. The most terrible has led to the current name.
When you're reading the note, you'd think we've made progress in Europe after all...but then the Russians turned back the clock.
You have placed the tower nicely between the overhanging branches.

The other guy on top of the obelisk also has white hair.
And the statues on top of the tower are too far away to see what hair colour they have.
To put it politely, you can also speak of silver hair :)
BTW, some people look really good with silver hair.

Fantastic point of view and you made a perfect use of it. WE have two versions both great. Here I would not notice that it was made by the phone. I am not sure whether you have already answered that question: did you take only phone for this trip and no camera at all?
I suppose with photography the issue is the available light. If the light is great every camera is able to take a great photo but the worse the light gets the more difficult it becomes and at certain point the bigger lens the better chance of success.

Great series with the beautiful wild life. I would like the emus most but since it was evening and no direct sunlight they are slightly lost in the setting, but you have a great satisfaction of capturing them. The main upload is the most exciting with the colorful parrots and you caught three birds with one stone ha ha

It is an amazing point of view and indeed the multiple layers make a great effect. I know it sounds like I am repeating things over again but the weather made the colors to wash out. This place would look marvelous in a sunshine.
However of course the bonus is that you have additional cloud layers :)
