Hello Brian
Given that this is a sunset, your predilection for colour generally, and the fact that you have the colour version on your website, I'm surprised, but pleased, that you have elected to show us a monochrome version. Actually it works tremendously well, and the vertical format is effective. I may not have wanted quite so much pavement in the foreground, but that's personal (conventional) taste. I love the sky, particularly the dark tones; I'm reminded of using b/w film with a deep red filter... Good work.

Hi Will
glad you liked this version, converting into B&W from colour is always difficult and does not always work and I know how accomplished you are as a photographer, so your comments are truly appreciated. Did toy with cropping out some of the fg, but I really like the rectangles of the paving. Thanks again. Brian.
