THE NEW PRESENTATION OF TE

Hi you all,
just to say that I do not like at all the new presentation of TE. The former one (like TL) was better and more practical.

While at first I was annoyed about unexpected change, I decided I really like it when I realized how it de-emphasizes points. The points are still there if you look for them but it doesn't allow immediate comparison of the 'value' of different photos.

GOOD JOB new TE owners.

Each member should still be able to see, under EACH ONE of his OWN photographs, besides the total of his points, the points allotted to EACH ONE of his OWN photographs, without for that revealing them with everyone. In spite of what I could read in addition, the points is often a small indication on the intrinsic value of a photograph, and allows the comparison, which makes it possible to the member concerned to have conclusions on its “works”.

Non, je n'ai pas trouver la vue immédiate comme auparavant des photos et de leurs indications. Il faut faire défiler trop de page ou pages pour voir.

Hi Joel,
I see the points as a way of controlling the amount of input from each member, to me that is a good thing. Your suggestion of letting only the member see the number of points acquired might be a good idea as well; I just thought that decreasing the emphasis on points was a step in the right direction. I think points are probably more important to new members.

I agree with the idea of decrease the emphasis on points, but the rest of changes are not really good. I would prefer the old style without showing points, for example.
