Great holmertz 2022-08-16 6:06

Hello Loong,
You may have had a hard choice among these photos. It's difficult for an outsider to judge if the level of the water in this pond is very low. There are nice colours on the surface, but are they harmful algae? The dead tree is nicely placed in the foreground. But I must admit that I would have chosen one of the WS, which both add living "creatures" (including people) to the views.
Best wishes,
Gert

Talking To holmertz: Harmful algae ???

Thank you ... Gert.

Good question , I really don't know.

I would reckon , a green 'Pond Moss' on the dried surface which eventually turned to 'red' due to the extreme hot weather.

The water level should be at the edge of the grass or the dried surface should be submerged in water.
The pond needs a good heavy rainfall , to be at least that normal level.

Ha!ha! I didn't find them hard to choose. No people or living 'creatures' ... just pure 'Nature' - my easy choice :-)

Cheers!
Loong
