Of Course, Viviane, it'll take a little time before every member can feel really comfortable with the new forum but IMO it really can blow up TE again...

may I humbly wonder why avatars are not available for all TE members? or they are available only to admins? Maybe this feature will be available in the future?

You can set your own forum avatar (as well as a whole lot of other options) by using the User CP (= User Control Panel) option which appears at the top left of the forum pages.
