Great holmertz 2016-07-31 2:59

Hello Ike,
There is no need really to explain anything about this painting. It speaks for itself and it's probably the finest of those you have shown us. It is cleverly made by an obviously talented painter and it's full of beautiful details.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour Clodo,
thank you very much for your comment and workshop! I thought of a composition like the one in your workshop when I saw the visitor walking through my frame but made a quick decision to include the clouds, as I liked their lines. I couldn't recompose because he was walking too fast for me and later, in pp, I decided to keep the clouds for their lines and dynamism. I thought that the two parts in the frame were so different that letting them occupy equal space wouldn't matter much. I'm not saying I was right
Thank you again!
All the best,
Ourania
