Hi John,
Thank you very much for your detailed note. Yes, the contrast was an absolute pain in this photo. I brought it up a few notches but it began to reveal burnt-out patches of overexposure and the blacks looked too dark. There was a fine line with brightness/contrast here and getting the right balance. I know it is not ideal, but I believe that this is the best representation I could achieve. : ) Matt
