Hi Will,
how did you do it!
It looks so dramatic. I know you hate HDR so you must have done some other miraculous processing here.
I think I would call it "50 shades of grey" but that title would be not original for you I suppose.
I don't like stone circles, although I must admit as a postcard lover I had to visit Stonehenge when I was passing by.
Amazing final effect!

I don't so much hate HDR as think it's so often badly, crudely done. Done with subtlety it's a technique which can enhance an image by bringing out the highlights and shadows. But you don't often see that!

No, this image wasn't done with HDR, but it wasn't done with miracles either! Just a careful digital interpretation of Ansel Adams' famous Zone System (so ten shades of grey rather than fifty!), and separate treatment of sky and land, so that the sky didn't burn out.

By the way, what's not to like about stone circles? They're only a bunch of old rocks!
