Hello Mariusz,
What an interesting note! I had not known that people from Middlesbrough were known as "Smoggies". How interesting. But Middlesbrough itself isn't known as "Smog"? Because Edinburgh is sometimes referred to as "Auld Reekie" (which, I guess also means "smoggy" or "smokey") but I don't think Edinburgh people are called "Reekies". All very odd!
Anyway, this is actually a very nice photograph which you have taken from your own home, showing the skyline view and also some evidence of smog or smoke in the sky - but the little clusters of light shining through the blue haze are rather attractive.
A very well captured shot with perfect exposure and, as always, exquisite details and sharpness.
Fabulous!
You take care in these troubled times.
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. What is the "back end" of a 70 - 300mm zoom? Is it 70 or 300mm?

Hi John,
nice to hear from you! I have heard this expression in reviews of lenses sometimes but I agree it is misleading. I meant 300mm end which in this case is actually 1.6x 300 = 480 mm. Keep safe!! Mariusz |
