Great PaulVDV 2020-12-29 11:55

Hello Gert,
I've never been in Orissa but I've heard a lot of the temples of Puri and you start your new series with a picture of ... the beach :) Just kidding. I've also been on the beach in India. Even in Mumbai the beach was interesting with its numerous visitors. Mumbai residents that is.
But the most famous beach of Mumbai was rather dirty. This beach here looks very clean.
Wonderful colour of the sky and it's well reflected in the wet sand on the left.
Beautiful saris too we see here.
Best regards, Paul

Default To PaulVDV: mumbai beach

Thanks Paul,
With "the most famous beach" of Mumbai you probably refer to Chowpatty. I have been there a few times. It's very interesting and photogenic in the late afternoons, but I wouldn't even dip a toe in that water or go barefoot one meter in that sand. I never saw the beaches further north, away from the city center,
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Gert,

Yes, I meant the Chowpatty Beach.
Much atmosphere in the evening.
But the beach and the water were incredibly dirty.

Happy New Year,
Paul
