Photographer's Note
Life in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt is abundant. The dive sites here are world famous for great fish life and coral structures. Here, I did a dive to the SS Thistlegorm - a shipwreck dive. It was a pure high to swim around and throughout the bombed WWII ship, into the motorcycle storage room, through the captain's cabin, and all around it. Here we can see a type of fish which generally hover in one spot - so they're easy to capture if you can get close. Although, shooting underwater is difficult as you have to stay neutrally bouyant so as not to move too much while the shutter is capturing the scene, and the deeper you go, there is less light and colours are hard to capture. Luckily photoshop can help bring the photos back to life, from the 30 meter depths of this wreck.
Taken on a digital compact encased in an underwater protection case - which I hired from a dive shop for a couple of days.

Hi David,
It almost look as if you put the three fish together! Nice colours for such depth and lack of natural light. Details look good as well. I imagine is such a great experience to dive deep and see this life underwater. Nice work David :-)

Hello Davide
Very strange to see how these fishes are syncronisated. The light and the blue colors are beautifull.

Great underwater catch. This triple portrait is amazing with the shipwreck and all the other fishes in the back.

Hi David,
Perfectly synchronised swim makes this one great, even when they are going away from you. Nice harmonous blur colors. Sounds like a great place to dive.

Hi David,
This is definitely a wonderful shot. Great timing to get these triplets in this position and framed by the wreck just so. Wonderful pov! I sailed the Red Sea for months and fished a lot, but never caught one of those - plenty of the red lunar-tailed groupers, though. Quite tasty! The fish were so colorful, as is practically everything along the coastal areas there...
Great job!

not fan of underwater pics, but this one works: 3 is the magic number, and those fishes got a perfect lightning, they seem to be out of the background, it s amazing!
