Photographer's Note
This is shot on Dahab beach side, on the coast of the Sinai desert. Still wondering how long it took and how the palm tree managed to grow that way.
The funny thing is that the abandoned houses didn't look that old.
Like a drawing but it isn't. That's again lith development print on Forte Polywarmtone print paper, just sharpened and tried to match the print color. The problem is that you never know exactly which color you'll get coming out of the tray, there are too many factors to handle, most of them at very diluted, almost homeopathic scale.

beautiful! I loved the tone. It even looks like it is not the same tree.

VEry well seen and captured. Especially the tone (as said abowe) is just the right one for this image.

Very nice and special shot that seems as if it is a nice accurate painting.

Perfectly tightly framed and with the right soft pastel tone.
Would make a wonderful print!...

nice Idea, though I would have tried to space it a bit more around the palm top. looks a bit densed to me. could work even better with colors. though it really depends on the colors of the scene.

hello Luko

The scrubbiness and scruffiness of the surfaces is offset by the "blank" sky and the "empty" spots on the wall, so the composition and forms make this representational and not. It's as though the tree grew through the wall to rebel, to prevent yet another palm-tree-swaying-in-the-breeze" photograph.

Hi Luko,
I found that on the randon pictures and I really like it. The subject is very unusual and so it catchs the attention. The treatment given to the picture is totaly different of anything I've seem before and brings all the details, the texture and the shapes out.
