My quirky hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh in south Sinai, that reminded me something that Gaudi in Barcelona might have designed.

You covrered a lot in relativly short time, Chris - and this place is the right place to take it easy, enjoy the beautiful beachs there and the majestic desert mountains around, and the clear air though it gets very hot sometimes. I had been there only one time in 08/1979. This hotel is relativly new, looks as a great resort. The colors here are vivid and shining.

Yes, this lines and mosaics from broken ceramics have something from Gaudi. Nice hotel. But in Sharm el Sheikh not the hotels are main attraction. Have you snorkeled there? The reef there is fabulous, I liked the underwater views more than the in the Great Reef near Cairns. I would love to go there again and then to be in water all the day,

Hello Chris,

I can also see the similarity between these designs and what is on show in Barcelona.
You have chosen a fine viewpoint, giving a dual aspect to explore the scene.
It's tough which way to go - up the attractive, curving staircase or under the series of brick arches, where a chair is awaiting!

The light is very well controlled on so many white surfaces.

Hello Chris,
This is indeed quite "Gaudiesque". It looks like a nice place to stay, provided the rooms are as smart as the exterior and acceptably clean. It doesn't look like the average package tour hotel. It's a nice photo with fine details and good colours.

I imagine that you did not have too many fellow guests down there in view of recent events. Your reference to Gaudi is indeed quite apt. Well composed with the steps placed off-centre and with good colours and clarity.

The stairway is the real eye catcher on the nice picture, also the arch and the white hotel walls
You create nice depth and perspective.

Il est vraiment spectaculaire cet h魌el. Je crois bien que je le choisirais moi aussi. J'aime ces marches et ces contre marches tr鑣 color閑s dans cette mer de blanc.

That's a pretty cute looking hotel there. It seems a mish-mash of Moorish and Spanish adobe architecture. I love the earth colours and how they contrast with the white washed walls. Lovely sharp image and a nice place to stay.
