Hello dA friends,

Long time I didn抰 upload a real portrait�. I took this time a couple of days ago in Eritrea in the school where we were organizing our art activities.
Some people call them the 搉injas�. Some people throw them stones while they are dressed like that� some people do throw them stones or spit on them when they uncover their faces�. In what world do we leave ?
Just leave the woman alone ! Leave the children alone ! Set them free�. Give them a voice !!! it is what Art in All of Us (www.artinallofus.org) modestly try to do !

Hi Anthony,

Art in all of us. I like that. Good concept. Not too pretentious, hearing the slogan. Just reading the website and that is a good mission.
I see the programs are still a bit in development. Most of it now focusses on short-run results, workshops, little courses. The curriculum development is interesting. Exchange programs on art schools would be interesting!

Take the time. Don't spread yourself too thinly too quickly. And make sure some of the results are measurable. These programs are so hard to capture in figures. I personally would not mind qualitative results, since you do not pretent to have measurable goals. (goals like 20% increase in the multi-cultural understanding of ....) That's so hard to measure. Then again, donors will ask some measurable results.

Great post, interesting reference to your project. Keep up the good work in giving people a voice - or better: in letting their voices be heard!
