- It was the very broad track which goes from Rissani to the dunes of Merzouga, not a bump, not a hole, it was true billiards and today, they made a concrete road here!!!

There is a heavy (artificial?) red cast and some burned out areas. But the picture brings lots of atmosphere! Great light and a fabulous composition. Here the panorama format is an excellent choice. Great idea to include so little sky. It really brings out the vastness of the area.

I love this picture for two reasons. First because it reminds me my trips in the deserts, where very often you can have astonishing light. Second, because of the red and black tones, which are amazingly captured.

And also nostalgic...I travelled in the same road in '99 and that was how it looked then - you tell me that now there's a new concrete road??? -> at least half of the fun is gone :(

today I saw this very old photo from your gallery. Nice one. The light management, colours are fantastic. I like the red dominansy here. Nice positioning of the car at right and after it the two lines goes till to the end. Good to see little sky over this. Great atmosphere. Very good job indeed. Tfs.

You have very informative travelogue of MAROC 1980. I traced the same trail as you 29 years after.
Color of Kodachrome reminds me of a great film epoch, i had used a Minolta SR-T 101 when i was young.
