Photographer's Note
Just a door of a house in the kasbah of Tangier. This part of the town, surrounded by old walls, is located on on of the hills overlooking the harbor and it is where a kind of old atmosphere is still felt on the air, on the houses and on the narrow labyrinthic streets.

This one definitely caught my eye! I love the bold blue agaisnt the white. This is a hard thing to photograph because there are so many vertical lines which makes it hard to get the image straight. I tried to play with it in a workshop, but ultimately I decided that your version was best. It doesn't have to be perfectly straight anyway! Nice job- I was surprised it was yours though- not your typical style in my opinion. Great job nonetheless!

Hi José,
Wonderful tone .. the colors feel Greek to me .. the intricate design against the simple palette is really effective .. doors always feel thoughtful to me .. like it a great deal.
take care,
John

Maria do Carmo

Hi Jose,
Doors, one of my favourite subjects. I am sure as in Tunisia that Morocco has some beautiful ones. I like the simple only two tones in this shot the blue and the white. Lovely detail on the door and a good composition including a bit of space on either side and the top.

nice blue and white with this door. I wonder whether this is typical or not.

Very striking image. It leaps out at you even from the thumbnail. All the white studs on the door create a wonderful graphic effect. Well spotted.

Olá José,
The cobalt blue of the door, and the white circules evoke a binary code of some type. Very good eye; simple but effective composition,
um abraço,

Merhaba Jose, my friend...
What a beautiful brilliant blue... The light and the sharpness are perfect... Also perfect details... Especially the texture of the wooden door is wonderful... The contrast of the blue and the white is wonderful too...
TFS...
Stay well..
Salim.

Hi Jose,
a dream in blue and white! You could have cropped the grey foreground, however. Nevertheless, wonderful composition, wonderful colors!

Knock, knock on your door, Jose. A quite sucessfull shot despite the simplicity of your composition. The colors work very good and you got a good opportunity not having any direct sunlight interfering with your image. What about planting some green on the two sides?

Marie Louise.
