Presidential car, a photo from Zanzibar, East

Photographer's Note

In Stone town, in the old town of Zanzibar, there is the old palate of the Sultan. It is called the "palate of the wonders".
Its heavy doors are roughcast peaks to resist the elephants.
In the half-light, the old presidential car points its grill to breathe the air of the sea.
Chromiums glow.
Leathers feel mildewed.

The old presidential car was garaged with the row of the old wonders.

A Stone town, dans la vieille ville de Zanzibar, il y a l'ancien palais du Sultan. On l'appelle le "palais des merveilles".
Ses lourdes portes sont h閞iss閑s de pics pour r閟ister aux 閘閜hants.
Dans le p閚ombre, la vieille voiture pr閟identielle pointe sa calandre pour respirer l'air de la mer.
Les chromes rutilent.
Les cuirs sentent le moisis.

La vieille voiture pr閟identielle a 閠� remis閑 au rang des vieilles merveilles.

for a car like this one should have this kind of doors. This is this kind of picture that one doesn't know if it's you looking at a car or if it's the car that's flirting with you. Very nice picture.

J'aime bien les vieilles voitures...et j'aime bien ta note qui nous met dans une ambiance de contes.. Belle prise enfin..d'une part avec ce portail de palais et d'autre part la voiture qui met son nez dehors.. Tr鑣 joli..

Hi Bertrand,
A well composed shot, rendered with great clarity and artistic expression. I like how the vintage car is just partly visible. The rich panelling of the heavy doors and artwork are very pleasing, as the colour in this shot blend well together. Great capture. I like it.
