Ten years!, a photo from Cadiz, Andalucia

Photographer's Note

Again a photo taken in Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz).
Our guide and friend 羘gel (cornejo) suggested us this place next to the highway C-334, as one of the best points of view for this beautiful village placed at the other bank of the river.

Indeed it was a splendid place to see the white architecture of the village climbing along an enormous cliff, with the river Guadalete and the metallic bridge located at its feet. You can see it in the WORKSHOP.

For this photo taken from the same place, I looked for a visual closed angle with the use of my zoom lens, thus I tried to capture the grand graphic effect and the nice geometry of the piling up white houses, with the added value of a magnificent game of the sunlight and the shades on the ensemble.

With this presentation, today I want to celebrate my 10th anniversary on this site. Thanks a lot to all my friends for their comments, their criticisms, and their suggestions about my photographic job.

De nuevo una foto tomada en Arcos de la Frontera (C醖iz).
Nuestro gu韆 y amigo 羘gel (cornejo) nos sugiri� este lugar al lado de la carretera C-334, como uno de los mejores puntos de vista sobre este precioso pueblo, situado al otro lado del r韔.

De verdad era un sitio espl閚dido para ver la arquitectura blanca del pueblo trepando sobre un enorme farall髇 rocoso, con el r韔 Guadalete y el puente met醠ico a sus pies. Pod閕s verlo en el WORKSHOP.

Para esta foto tomada desde el mismo lugar, busqu� un 醤gulo visual cerrado utilizando una focal larga con mi zoom, de esta forma intent� captar el grandioso grafismo geom閠rico de las casas blancas amontonadas entre s�, con el valor a馻dido de un magn韋ico juego de la luz del sol y las sombras sobre el conjunto.

Con esta presentaci髇, hoy quiero celebrar mi 10� aniversario en este sitio. Muchas gracias a todos mis amigos por sus comentarios, cr韙icas y sugerencias en relaci髇 con mi trabajo fotogr醘ico.

Hello Josep,
I really like your picture in the workshop. I have visited Arcos, already a while ago and I have seen the village from different sides and points of view but never from that viewpoint ... It's really an amazing sight, especially with the river and the bridge on the foreground.
Both pictures are made with a perfect sharpness and in an excellent composition.

Not only congratulations on your anniversary and contributions here, also: this just is a very, very good picture from a wonderful location. An ordinary scene, but a great shot. I love the close crop and that bit of red below which stands out between the white and blue tones elsewhere.

C'est un anniversaire qui vaut la peine d'阾re c閘閎r�. J'aime la compression de l'image qui donne l'impression que les maisons sont empil閑s les unes sur les autres.La lumi鑢e en diagonale sur le blanc des maisons est saisissante.

Mis felicitaciones por estos diez a駉s en la pagina, donde nos haces disfrutar con la maestr韆, de tus magn韋icos y elegidos trabajos, espero sigas en ella, aunque sea ocasionalmente.
Fant醩ticas estas dos im醙enes tan diferentes, me encanta la panor醡ica, el sitio esta bien elegido y es una delicia, ver como se derrama el caserio ladera abajo, mientras otra parte, queda al borde del barranco, con la vista del rio abajo.
Tambien este plano cerrado, tiene un bonito efecto geom閠rico y notable grafismo, con el dominante de las blancas casas, salpicadas con el toque de color de los tejados.
Dos esplendidos trabajos para celebrar estos 10 a駉s, que nos hacen disfrutar con su belleza.
Un abrazo muy fuerte para ambos en este frio fin de semana.
