What a View!, a photo from Northumberland, England

Good Morning Everyone,

This is Beach Court, a beautiful house on the very edge of the beach. It boasts an amazing turret, from the top of which, there are wonderful views out to the North Sea.

Although this is on the east coast, because of the position of the bay, you can see the sun set across the sea! Stranger than fiction!

Marvellous warm vs cold colour contrasts between the blue sky & the red roof tiles, with the solitary bird animating the shot. Well composed using the rule of thirds & a good upward pov. Excellent sharpness, colour saturation & lighting contrasts / density. Tfs!

Besides the beautiful mansion along the beach, I see a big bird aloft, Beverly, and this looks as some kind of a vulture, hope I am not so wrong about.
A fine place for a summer stay, inspite the notable wind seen on the bushs.

Surprisingly,as a belgian I've been close to Beadnell while visiting Brunton RAF airport...I did not realise that I was so close to the sea and from a nice and lost fishermen village like this!
Fortunately I just had a look on Google earth/street view and could see more about the place...
So,thanks to TE we can learn more about travels!

Indeed - Phew! What a View!

This is a very simple but lovely composition with the most gloriously vibrant but natural colours and exquisite details and sharpness. The bird circling above the house is an added feature as is the one perching on the weather vane - obviously a favourite landing spot judging by the guano on the top of that quaint conical roof!

What an idyllic location. This would be on the front of the estate agent's brochure!

Your chosen pov using the stoney beach in the foreground is great, and I was always think red tiled roofs look their best set against a strong blue sky. Plenty of sunlight to highlight the stonework of the house too, and a well focused capture.

The windswept coastal grasses speak of stiff off-shore breezes and lashing rains Bev! But here the sky is blue, the sun is out and one does not need to be closeted in the 'tower' to enjoy the view. What a fine position for a coastal home. Despite the main focus being the house, I get a great feeling of freedom by looking at this finely managed composition. Very good shot. I've never been to Northumberland.... its on the list though! Warm regards Rosemary

This is a wonderful image of this coast, the house is really nice and is strong and resilient, confident that the North Sea winds hit heavy, at least we see the grass next to the seashore so demonstrates, the sky has a fabulous blue and adds its charm to the composition.
Very good brightness and sharpness in this picture, good colors complete this good work.

when I look at this photo the very first thing that I see is the grass which looks so unusually soft... like fur! LOL

This is quite the view, both your photo and I can just imagine the views of the ocean too. Is this a house you stayed at or just came across? It looks like a great place to sit and watch the sun set. You nailed the composition here. Love the wild wind-blown grass.
