The well know TV-tower in Berlin behind the Berlin Dome. The photo was taken during an evening walk from Kurfurstendamm to Alexanderplatz.

I've seen lots of photos of the TV tower, but never one like this. I think you did a good job of making it interesting and showing some detail. Really good idea to include the roof of the church too.
It could be said that the photo is slightly 'soft' i.e. not super-sharp, but together with that wonderful late evening sunlight and the dark clouds in the background, this all makes for an unusual and eye-catching shot.

Hello Stefan,
the way you placed the TV tower and the dome in the frame is great.You choose excellent POV and close up.I like also this contradictory lighting and color scheme of your composition.On the one hand we have beautifully illuminated and in warm colors tower and dome,on the other hand the dramatic and heavy sky in the BG make superb contrast to it.

Excellent presentation of one of the most famouse symbols of Berlin. I was there in 1999. Great point of view. Outstanding colours. Fine contrast with the stormy sky!

Wow! What a superb shot of this great landmarks of Berlin! You had a fantastic moment for taking that image so the contrast between dark cloudy sky and golden elements of architecture. Very well done, many TFS!

I had a similar idea for a picture in Berlin, but weather and light conditions were just terrible. Here it works really well. I love the yellow-ish glow in the light and the overall composition. It would make a terrific book cover too.

Hello Stefan,

Nice with these sunlit easily recognizable Berlin iconic buildings against that dark sky. Well seen and well composed (for me, it always works with two main elements in opposite main spots). I think I took a few roughly similar photos when in Berlin, varying the closer element and keeping the tower in the background, trying to exploit, like you did, marked historical and architectural contrasts. Your photo succeeds to speak of Berlin with really few elements.

Hello Stefan,
Excellent use of the long focal length to get crisp clean details of the TV tower and dome of the Church. The sun illuminates the tower just perfectly creating a cross of light to compliment the top of the Church. Well done!
