Hi John,

The trees are framing well the bridge and the castle. The npoint of view is sending my eyes toward the castle which is giving depth to the composition. It is also showing the deatils and colors of the architecture of the bridge and of the castle Cortewalle. The noon light is well managed and it does not hurt the output of the colors. have a nice day.

Dani mnogo brzo prolaze ...
Odlican motiv i uvodni tekst.
Mnogo lepo mesto, viseci most sa drvenim gredama i metalnom ogrado dali su uvod u lepu fotografiju i pogled na stari dvorac. Uvek su se nalazili na prelepim mestima sa drvecem i vodom koji su naglasavali njihovu lepu arhitekturu.

Uitstekende thema en inleidende tekst.
Een heleboel mooie plek, opknoping brug met houten balken en metalen hek gaf een mooie introductie in de foto en kijk naar het oude kasteel. Altijd waren in de prachtige pleinen met bomen en water, dat hun prachtige architectuur benadrukt.

Many nice place, hanging bridge with wooden beams and metal fence gave the introduction to a lovely photo and look at the old castle. Always were in the beautiful places with trees and water that stressed their beautiful architecture.

Olá John, wonderful framing of the castle using this methalic structure as a window. Beautiful perspective of the bridge and lovely play of shadows in foreground. Again, this seems like an enchanting place to walk and/or cycle around.

you have your classic and signature long line, with the bridge deck leading to your main subject.
the lighting on the bridge is very warm and pleasant.
its great how the home is composed neatly and tightly tucked into the bridge.

You have chosen the most difficult angle to master this frontal light and you are quite successful! This was a very good and creative idea to place the castle between the bridge piers. A flawless sharpness from the Fg up to the Bg thanks to ideal parameters.

Een niet zo alledaagse compositie. Het is lastig om zo'n kasteelttje en deze brug in een foto te krijgen.
Toch is je dat goed gelukt.
Ik denk dat het onder andere komt door de goede stnadpunt keuze en door de schaduwen op de brug, die zonder deze waarschijnlijk een te harde lichte vlke in de voorgrond had gegeven.
Al met al dus een prachtplaat, alweer!!

A very original composition. The back-light is really good here and the bridge is a really good lead-in to the castle. I also enjoy the lighting. It conveys a feeling spring. TFS and have a nice evening!

Dag John,

De combinatie van voor en achtergrond vind ik heel fraai in deze foto.
TE is inderdaad niet meer wat het geweest is. Nog afgezien van de traagheid, is ook het elan verdwenen. Velen zijn verdwenen of minder actief, merk ik. Zelf op het forum wordt nog maar weinig geklaagd. Laten we hopen dat het weer beter gaat worden.

Hello John,
a lovely picture with a very interesting composition. We get a delighful sense of space and feel we can move around, we only have to choose direction. I like very much how you have worked and played with an intricate network of perspectives, balancing them so skillfully, making the composition comprehensive, comfortable and pleasing. The castle is embraced or framed by the perspectives becoming the ultimate focal point without any of the surrounding details being redudant. Lighting was really challenging too but you've managed it in an examplary way. The colours are lovely. Congratulations and thank you!

You are drawn into this image by the old bridge when the diagonal lead-in to the structure and almost makes me expect a complete back to the start and you've got it all there. A lovely peaceful rural scene by the canal and the house is well placed against the green surroundings. The toning lends gives it the perfect finish. Beautiful pic. Congrats
