Photographer's Note

This old bicycle caught my eye while walking through the small back alley of Bikaner old walled city, famous for its carved-stone red buildings dated back to 15th century. Loved how the colours and shape worked together just as attractive as the artful facade and felt it was striking and powerful as if someone had carefully arranged it for Me to find.

Setting: 27 mm, 1/60 sec, F6.3, ISO Raw 200, 1530 hrs

yes the rich adorned fa鏰des of this town are amazing. I liked the way you used the bike as an element here, with the adorned arch around like a frame. perfect light and indian mood.

I like this blend of ancient and modern and the colour contrasts. The image is ideally framed and well exposed. Excellent rendering of the colours and architectural detail. The bicycle is the cherry on the cake.

Une tr鑣 belle photo quoique j'aurais personnellement enlev� le sac vert sur la gauche qui attire beaucoup trop le regard. Cela aurait aussi donn� une chance � la sym閠rie.

Excellent capture of this bicycle in front of the blue door and underneath the beautifully decorated red arch. The narrow frame is excellent and the soft lighting works very pleasantly. Well spotted.

Actually, it's the carvings in the red stone that caught my eye. The color combination of red and blue is tremendous. The only thing that is out of place it the green sack, couldn't you kick it away before you took the photo? Unfortunately, we travel photographers do not have the luxury of rearranging our subjects.

ooohhhh aaaaahhhh....sweeeet! these types of scenes are some of my favorite, especially from India with the old historic buildings, arches, and doors.

such attractive red/blue combinations, and even the seat is red :) love the faded doors too. A+
