Photographer's Note
Just a short train ride from the centre of Melbourne (around 25 minutes) and you arrive at Brighton Beach.
This long stretch of safe, sandy bay swimming beaches includes Dendy Street beach, Middle Brighton and Brighton beaches.
The area is well known for quaint colourful bathing boxes along the beach set against the Melbourne city skyline.
The bathing huts are now heritage listed, and the council recently built two more and sold them for over $200,000 each.
There is windsurfing, yachting and boating and a walking and cycling path.

Hello Wanda - Nice to see you posting and I see you have been off on your travels again. Initially, I thought these beach huts were in the UK but the flag featuring the Union Flag and Southern Cross gave the game away! Super composition with great depth perspective, the alignment of the beach hut roof with the upper frame is very clever.
Warm regards Rosemary
PS. WRT the "Owl House", a place really worth visiting if you are in the area. I would have liked to have had longer to visit and only when we got there did I see lots of places to overnight. The whole village has a very 'arty' look and feel and Miss Helen, although an outcast in life, has received much acclaim in death.

Hi Wanda. Had we known you were coming to Melbourne, the four or four or five of us would have made a welcoming party for you. Nice atmosphere even if it's no longer summer. Vibrant colours and excellent depth. Regards. Klaudio.

Great patriotic shot here, Wanda! Wonderful perspective you've found, with the colorfully painted beach houses stretching so far back in the shot; you certainly chose a good one as your subject too. Lovely sky above it all - thanks!

Ciao Wanda,

Hello Wanda,
I feel I would better buy new lens or travels before to try to own a wood hut at 200k$ :-)
Very good work and the composition and the framing.

Hi Wanda
nice to see that beach huts are just as colourful and great photographic subject "down under". Super perspective, colours and detail, but it is the bright Union Jack that makes this image stand out so superbly. Excellent!
Have a fine week - Brian.

Hello Wanda,
Nice perspective and colourful beach huts. Good quality overall. I like details like the side of the first cabin perfectly vertical while its sloping roof exactly follows the upper side. Somewhat amazing.
Regards,
Claude
