Ghost of the City IV

Emin鰊� is a former district of Istanbul in Turkey, now a neighbourhood of Fatih district. This is the heart of the walled city of Constantine, the focus of a history of incredible richness. Emin鰊� covers the point on which the Byzantine capital was built. The Galata Bridge crosses the Golden Horn into Emin鰊� and the mouth of the Bosphorus opens into the Marmara Sea. And up on the hill stands Topkapı Palace, the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii) and Hagia Sophia (Aya Sofya). Thus Emin鰊� is the main tourist destination in Istanbul. It was a part of the Fatih district until 1928, which covered the whole peninsular area of old Istanbul within the medieval city walls - that area which was formerly the Byzantine capital Constantinople. Since the resident population of Emin鰊� is low today, it rejoined the Fatih district in 2009.

Hi Anil,
Very clever use of long exposure, I really sense the movement. The POV is perfect. The light, so crisp, on the still elements, frames this well, like a platform for the moveable objects.

Hello Anil,
I like this overhead view of a very busy spot. The choice of B/W and the long exposure are great. It is interesting that there is one couple near the center who are standing still.

Uzun pozlamanın hayalet etkisi ve altın noktadaki adamın netliği s黳er. Yakalayana kadar epey uğraştırmıştır herhalde. Emin鰊�'n� severim, ne zaman fotoğraf i鏸n �ıktıysam boş d鰊memişimdir. Belki birg黱 oralarda karşılaşırız! 莖k memnun olurdum.

A good idea, transformed in a composed (symetry) and realised picture, with a long time to blur the persons in movement. Thankfully, a couple looking for their way, stay and are eye catching.

iki sabit fig黵黱 etrafındaki keşmekeşi ustaca veren, ilgin� bakış a�ısıyla ve simetrisiyle de etkileyici bir fotoğraf. aty şart midur? (telif korumasına yardımcı mı diye meraktan sordum, yoksa estetik a�ıdan keyfimi ka�ıramaz)

Merhaba Anıl,
Uzun zamandır TE'ye girmiyor olmama rağmen fotoğraflarını uzaktan uzaktan takip ediyordum. Galerin birbirinden g鼁el fotoğraflarla dolu ama bunun yeri apayrı.
Sen de 鰕le olduğunu biliyor olmalısın, yoksa 鰕lesine "Denk geldi de 鏴ktim"lik birşey değil bu.

hareketin i鏸ndeki durgunluğa bayıldım, burda durup beklemek lazım, bir daha denesene... 鏾k zirve bir hikaye �ıkabilir burdan, bu senin fikrin, l黷fen dene bence...
