Iris garden #1, a photo from Ibaraki, Kanto

Photographer's Note

Iris's flower is open around the rainy season.
Today Tokyo sets in the rainy season that takes about 1 month. I took this shot in Itako Iris garden where Bride is carried on traditional boat.
When we, Japanese, see Iris's flower, we perceive the rainy season is coming. In that sense Iris is also seasonable flower as same sa SAKURA.

Hi Takero,

It is such a lovely image but please add a sufficient note about the subject here, the iris. If not it would be a common object w/o suitable note and would be removed for the same reason as earlier close shots of common object have been removed.

Simply gorgeous & something diff from you tis time!
Brilliant detail captured this close-up work brightening up my dull drizzly day here. Love the way you have filled the frame with shallow dof and stunning colour against dark bg. A very worthy clear shot with a perfect use of exposure and a pleasure to view!! Congrats
